Rachel Stead

My name is Rachel Stead and I qualified as a National Childbirth Trust (NCT) antenatal teacher in 2003. I am married to Andrew, a university lecturer at theUniversityof Creative Arts, and we have three children, Nathan (16), Ben (14) and Lizzie (12). For the past 18 years, we have lived in Faversham – a fabulous town to live and raise children in with a real sense of community and a slight ‘quirkiness’ which I adore!

I actually trained in retail management; initially working for Harrods in Knightsbridge before moving to branch management within Dorothy Perkins and then department store management within Debenhams. I moved to Ricemans of Canterbury (now Fenwick) as a trainer for the store when the children were born and I needed to work on a more part-time basis.
